<p> Billie & Emil Tyler Trust Scholarship</p><p>Description:</p><p>A one-year scholarship in the amount of $1,000 has been established to assist a Wabash Valley College student who is pursuing a career in the medical/healthcare field. This scholarship is made possible through the generosity of Billie and Emil Tyler.</p><p>Eligibility Requirements/Criteria:</p><p>1. Must be a U.S. citizen.</p><p>2. Must be a second semester freshman or a sophomore at WVC.</p><p>3. Financial Need will be a factor in determining the recipient.</p><p>4. The successful applicant must have no less than a 3.0/4.0 grade point average.</p><p>5. Future Goal Statement: Write a 200 – 300 word essay stating your future goals as they relate to the medical/healthcare field. </p><p>Please indicate the type of employment desired after graduation. </p><p>State why you feel you should be considered for this scholarship</p><p>6. One character reference letter from a person who is unrelated to you must be included.</p><p>7. Must provide an official Wabash Valley College transcript.</p><p>8. The award is to be paid directly to the College for use toward tuition, fees and books.
