<p>MEMO Red Wing Public Schools Buildings and Grounds Dept.</p><p>To: Administrators PLEASE POST </p><p>From: Kevin Johnson</p><p>Date: September 11, 2017</p><p>Re: Pesticide Herbicide Control Schedule Notice – 2017-2018 School Year</p><p>Per the “Parents Right to Know Act” that took effect on September 15, 2000, we are required to post a schedule for anyone who might want to know when an application will be performed. This schedule must also be stored for a period of 6 years. </p><p>This notice must be posted in your building in an area where both parents and staff can view it. This same information, along with much more, is also available on our districts web site. <www.redwing.rwps.org </p><p>Pest Control Schedule:  3rd week of each month (15th-21st)  Thanksgiving Holiday  Winter Vacation  Good Friday  Memorial Day  Exterior treatment to control beetles, bees, box elder bugs & other pests will be on an “as- needed” basis and will be applied during non-school hours.</p><p>Herbicide Schedule  Herbicides will be applied on an “as-needed basis”.  August 19, 2017 – All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized. (Primary date)  August 28, 2017 – All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized. (Secondary date if conditions are not appropriate during primary date)  September 23-24, 2017 - All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized. (Primary date)  September 30-October 1, 2017 - – All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized. (Secondary date if conditions are not appropriate during primary date)  October 19-21, 2017– All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized. (Primary date)  October 28, 2017– All district buildings and fields will be sprayed for weeds and fertilized.
