<p>Richard (“Rich”) Hillsman Biography</p><p>Rich joined Fifth Third Bank in 2006 as Senior Managing Director and Head of Syndicated Finance. Previously, he worked at J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. (“JPM”) and predecessor firms (Banc One Capital Markets, Inc. and First Chicago Capital Markets, Inc.) in Syndicated & Leveraged Finance where he was responsible for originating and structuring loan and bond transactions for corporate clients. Before his tenure at JPM, Rich managed two affiliated middle market operating companies located in suburban Chicago. One produced stamped/roll-formed metal components and the other was a tooling and engineering company. Rich began his professional career as a commercial banker at The First National Bank of Chicago where he assisted in founding its loan syndication business. Rich graduated with a Finance degree from the University of Notre Dame and is a Past President of the Notre Dame Club of Chicago. He sits on the Board of Directors for McCormick Distilling Company, Inc., BEDS Plus, Inc. and The Notre Dame Club of Chicago Scholarship Foundation. </p>
