<p> DELAVAN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PO Box 44 Delavan, Illinois 61734-0044</p><p>Dear Delavan Alum:</p><p>The 2010 Alumni Banquet will be held in the Jake Poppenga Gymnasium, Saturday, June 12, 2010. Events begin at 5:00 pm. Reservations are due by June 8, 2010. Come early to meet your fellow classmates.</p><p>Honored classes this year are: 1950, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1980, 1985, 1990, 2000 and 2010. Each honored class should select a spokesperson to give a short introduction. Special recognition will also be given to those attending from pre-1950 classes. Other classes planning on a large attendance should let us know well in advance in order to arrange for special seating and recognition. Robin Bell will be taking pictures of the honor classes after the banquet and you may order prints from her.</p><p>The tentative schedule is as follows: 5:00 pm...... Registration and distribution of name tags in main foyer. The Hospitality Room will be open in the library. 5:15 pm ...... Optional tour of the High School. Meet by the library. 5:45 pm...... Classes will be seated, honored classes first. 6:00 pm...... Banquet served by Guzzardo's 7:00 pm...... Business Meeting, Honor Class Recognitions, Scholarship</p><p>The "Alumni Umbrella" will be passed and contributions accepted. Last year donations were given to the school for additional tables, the elementary teachers for supplies, & the Camp Read-A-Lot program. The Alumni Committee also allocated $500 for the 4th annual Delavan Alumni Scholarship to be given to a 2010 graduating senior.</p><p>The Alumni Committee has worked many hours to provide a pleasant evening. Your support in the form of attendance and contributions will help make this a successful event. Encourage your classmates to attend.</p><p>Please keep our directory current.
