<p>Field Trip to Greenfield Village Monday, June 1st Leaving St. John’s at 8:30am, Leaving Greenfield Village at 1:00 pm</p><p>Dear Parents and Chaperones,</p><p>A few notes regarding our field trip this Monday:</p><p>Dress: Students may wear appropriate casual clothes. They must wear tennis shoes and socks, no sandals. Jeans or knee-length shorts are acceptable. Please remember this is an outdoor field trip, so dress for the weather.</p><p>Lunch: Please pack a sack lunch and do not send money. Students are not to shop in the gift shop or purchase their lunch there. We have many groups of students with chaperones and would prefer the students spend their time learning and seeing the sights. Students may also pack a snack and a drink.</p><p>Scavenger Hunt: Students will be completing a scavenger hunt while at the village. We are asking the chaperones to help lead the students in their scavenger hunts. Students have chosen hunts in areas that interest them. These will be collected when we return to school.</p><p>Backpacks: Students should bring their backpacks. The backpacks should contain their lunch, snacks, drink, a pencil, a notebook or clipboard for writing on, and sunscreen. Students may also bring/wear sunglasses. No electronics, including cell phones. </p><p>Chaperones: Please be with your assigned group of students at all times. You may buddy up and walk around with another group, but we are counting on you to be responsible for your assigned students. Thank you for being a chaperone and joining us on our field trip.</p><p>Bus: All students must ride the bus to and from Greenfield Village.
