UNITY NORTH ATLANTA CHURCH OPENS FUND RAISING RAFFLE TO THE PUBLIC</p><p>MARIETTA, Ga (Sept. 1, 2010) – Win a car for only $100 – compliments of Unity North Atlanta Church (UNAC). A 2005 Mini Cooper will be raffled off on Sept. 24 at the church’s annual fundraising dinner and silent auction event. The car is donated by a church member and in excellent condition with a Kelley Blue Book Value of $14,000. Raffle tickets are sold for $100 with a 400 ticket availability limit. Tickets can be purchased online at www.unitynorth.org or at the church following Sunday services (located at 4255 Sandy Plains Rd., Marietta). The winner does not need to be present at the September dinner to win. The second place prize is $1,000. </p><p>“We are excited to be able to offer someone such a great prize for our fund-raising raffle,” said Rev. Stephanie Seigh. “I believe this is one of the best raffle prizes we’ve offered during our annual fund raising event. It will certainly be exactly what some lucky person was asking to receive.” The silver/black Mini Cooper has less than 60,000 miles with only a one-owner history. Features include: two-door hatchback, leather interior, five speed manual, power package, heat/AC, and an excellent sound system with CD player. The winner must claim the prize by Oct. 31, 2010 or the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be drawn. Winner must present physical ticket, photo id, including social security. The raffle tickets are not considered charitable donations and therefore are non tax deductible. The winner is responsible for reporting and paying property taxes, tariffs, and fees in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws with respect to the prize received.
