On a separate piece of paper, answer the following questions using COMPLETE SENTENCES;</p><p> a. What was Confederation and provide an example as to why it was important to the British colonists of North America. (2 mks for explanation and example)</p><p> b. Compare the differences between the Victorian immigrants and the Native peoples of Canada. (2 mks for quality or response and inclusion of examples)</p><p> c. Why are Victorians described as having an “attitude” about themselves? (2 mks for explanation and examples)</p><p> d. Opinion Question: What do you think of the “Victorians”? Be sure to BACK UP your opinion with examples.</p><p>3. Examine Fig. 2-8 on page 62 of your text. Imagine that you are a magazine editor compiling a list of fashion and décor “do’s” for trendy Victorians.
