Word Work o_e---teacher’s guide pg. 245F 4. Discuss Story Words which the teacher has written on notebook paper (crawl, female, grains, honey, lays, narrow, spreads, thousand, tongues) 5. Vocabulary and High Frequency Words---teacher’s guide pg. 245I 6. Class will discuss the genre nonfiction and reread the story, “Busy Buzzy Bee” textbook pgs. 218-243 and discuss 7. Daily Language Practice---teacher’s guide pg. 247A 8. Grammar: Describing Adjective Words: Weather words---teacher’s guide pg. 247B 9. Writing---Students will help make a chart with work that Busy Bee does on one side of the chart and chores that they do on the other side of the chart. Then they will divide a piece of paper in half. On one side they will pick one work job that Busy Bee does, write about it, and illustrate it.
