<p>For Immediate Release Subhash Projects And Marketing Limited (SPML) secures order worth Rs. 77 crore from Delhi Jal Board</p><p> Second order bagged in just two weeks; with cumulative value of orders being Rs. 666 crore</p><p>Kolkata, 23 February, 2009: Subhash Projects And Marketing Limited (SPML) one of India’s leading multi-disciplinary infrastructure companies recently bagged the prestigious Rithala STP (Sewage Treatment Plant) Project valued at Rs. 77 crore from Delhi Jal Board. The water generated through this project will be used in the power plant for generation of electricity for the Commonwealth Games.</p><p>The Scope of Work includes construction of 25 MGD (million gallons per day) Effluent Pumping Station (EPS) at Rithala STP, including twin transmission mains for carrying 33.34 MGD treated effluent from EPS at Rithala to PPCL (Pragati Power Corporation Limited) plant at Bawana, on Design, Build and Operate (DBO) basis with a completion timeline of 11 months. SPML will also undertake Operation & Maintenance for a period of 5 years post completion. The DJB project win re-iterates SPML’s strength in the Industrial Waste Management domain. It is also notable that throughout the years SPML has proved its efficiency to establish itself as one of the preferred companies to work on specialised segments.</p><p>This DJB order is SPML’s second order in the last two weeks. SPML won its largest order ever worth Rs. 586 crores for the prestigious Chevella Irrigation Project from Government of Andhra Pradesh earlier this month, reinstating SPML’s stronghold in the water domain. This further establishes SPML’s functionality and expertise in diverse sectors and its presence and growing strength at a national level.</p><p>SPML’s current order book position is at over Rs. 3000 Crores. “Since the last few months our outlook has been towards delivery excellence and creating value for our clients.
