<p> City of Nicoma Park Regular Meeting</p><p>MINUTES November 2, 2010 7:00 p.m.</p><p>The City Council of Nicoma Park met in the Council Chambers at 2221 Nichols Dr., Nicoma Park, OK.</p><p>1. CALL TO ORDER The meeting was called to order by Mayor Pumphrey at 7:00 p.m. Invocation by Mayor Pumphrey and the flag salute was led by Robert Pittman.</p><p>Councilmembers present Councilmembers absent Casey Smith – Ward 1 None Kevin Loudermilk – Ward 2 Theron Franks – Ward 3 Others present Robert Pittman – Ward 4 Joy Bain – Deputy City Clerk Shelley Meyers – Ward 5 Cindy Williams – Ward 6 Jim Pumphrey – Mayor</p><p>2. HIGHLIGHTS AND CONCERNS a. Information about Midwest City’s Household Hazardous Waste Disposal is in your packets.</p><p>3. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda includes routine items that can be approved by one motion of the Council. If any proposed item does not meet with the approval of the Council, said item will be removed and placed under the Business Agenda. The following items are recommended for consideration:</p><p> a. Minutes of the October 5, Regular Meeting. b. Payment of October Claims. c. Acknowledge payment of October Payroll and Benefits in the amount of $47,816.82; Mayor $150; City Attorney $500.00; Judge $700.00. d. Approval of November estimated payroll in the amount of $49,000.00. e. Reimbursement of Petty Cash: General Government $44.00 Police Department $17.60 Fire Department $44.77</p><p>MOTION BY Franks; SECOND Loudermilk, to approve the Consent Agenda. BUSINESS AGENDA Discussion, consideration and possible action to be held on the following Business Agenda Items:</p><p>A. Lot Split Application from Chet Cox at 10701 NE 16th St. in order to sell part of the property. The Planning Commission recommended approval at their September 16th meeting.</p><p>MOTION BY Franks; SECOND Loudermilk, to approve the lot split as recommended by the Planning Commission. AYE VOTES: Smith, Loudermilk, Franks, Pittman, Meyers, Williams, Pumphrey. NAY VOTES: None. ABSENT: None. MOTION CARRIED.</p><p>B. Adoption of Resolution No. 2010-06 Notice of Election calling for the 2011 election for the office of Mayor and for Councilmember’s for Ward 1, Ward 3 and Ward 5 for a two-year term and Ward 2 and Ward 6 for a one-year term.</p><p>MOTION BY Pittman; SECOND Williams, to adopt Resolution No. 2010-06. AYE VOTES: Smith, Loudermilk, Franks, Pittman, Meyers, Williams, Pumphrey. NAY VOTES: None. ABSENT: None. MOTION CARRIED.</p><p>City of Nicoma Park/NPDA November 2, 2010 MINUTES – Page 2 C. Approval of 2011 Regular Council Meeting Schedule.</p><p>MOTION BY Loudermilk; SECOND Franks, to approve the 2011 schedule with one change, move the September meeting to September 13 due to the Labor Day Holiday. AYE VOTES: Smith, Loudermilk, Franks, Pittman, Meyers, Williams, Pumphrey. NAY VOTES: None. ABSENT: None. MOTION CARRIED.</p><p>D. Declare the following property surplus and authorize the Mayor to sell or dispose of accordingly:</p><p>1. old hot water tank from the Fire Station 2. old refrigerator from Community Center</p><p>MOTION BY Pittman; SECOND Loudermilk, to declare the property surplus and authorize the Mayor to sell or dispose of. AYE VOTES: Smith, Loudermilk, Franks, Pittman, Meyers, Williams, Pumphrey. NAY VOTES: None. ABSENT: None. MOTION CARRIED.</p><p>6.
