<p>Registration is at 3 PM on Sunday, and pick up is at 9 AM the following Saturday.</p><p>What to bring – We recommend that children bring the following items for a one-week stay at camp. None of these are mandatory (except maybe the soap!) – this is just a guideline!</p><p>Socks (9 pair) Mountain bike & helmet (if you want) Underwear (daily change) Towels (2) & washcloth Long pants (2-3 pair) Beach towel Shorts (2-3 pair) Soap Sweater or sweatshirt Shampoo Warm Jacket Brush / comb Waterproof boots Sunscreen Water shoes / water sandals Bible Sneakers Flashlight & extra batteries Swimsuits (2) Pencils & notebook 1 nice outfit, or one crazy outfit Stationery & stamps - For dress up night Books for reading Pajamas or Sleep wear Water bottle or canteen Hat or sun visor Day pack or book bag Rain gear Sunglasses Sleeping bag (or 2 blankets) Laundry bag Sheet Camera & film Pillow & pillowcase Musical instrument Fishing equipment Insect repellent lotion Sports equipment</p><p>Note: All clothing brought to camp must be free of offensive language, drug/alcohol promotion, sexual innuendo, or other imprints that conflict with a spirit of Christian community. Your cooperation in this will help insure a successful week for all campers, staff, and volunteers.</p><p>Please leave at home: Radios, cd/tape players, cell phones and pagers, expensive clothing, food/candy, hair dryers and curling irons, aerosol cans, video games, weapons, valuables, and any other items which might detract from your full participation. Vanderkamp provides healthy, plentiful food. It is not necessary to pack food or candy. Note: Cell phones that are discovered will be withheld until the end of the week, due to privacy concerns of all campers. We also ask parents very seriously not to send cell phones due to the discomfort it causes in those campers who elected to follow the rules and not bring theirs. </p>
