<p>What to bring to camp August 7-12, 2016 Lancer Band</p><p>IMPORTANT ITEMS you need to bring to camp 1. INSTRUMENTS - both concert & marching instruments. 2. 3 RING BINDER for drill charts, music and warm ups (plastic sleeves suggested, pens, pencils, highlighters) 3. Band/Guard T-SHIRT (for Friday camp) 4. MUSIC- bring all marching music (from the summer rehearsals) 5. SUPPLIES for your instrument! extra reeds, mouthpieces, valve oil, neck straps, etc. 6. FLIP FOLDER & INSTRUMENT LYRE 7. LUNCH FOR SUNDAY 8. *GUARD GLOVES We will pack the black concert band folders together along with other large band items. Make sure your instrument gets loaded on the truck. Please check it in.</p><p>PACKING – 1 SUITCASE/BAG and BACKPACK - small carryon bags (on the bus with you) On the Field Needs : SNEAKERS/Marching shoes -a must for on the field! No flip flops or sandals on the field Sunscreen Bug spray Sunglasses Hat - Hair ties For the Week: DORM AND FREE TIME Plenty of comfortable clothes for six days- you might change twice a day Shorts, T-shirts (many), jeans & sweatshirt?, extra socks Sleepwear – robes Flip flops, sandals - for off the field time Bed Sheets (extra sheet for the window?) Blanket Pillow Bath towels, hand towels, pool towel Bathing suit Toiletries (soap, toothpaste, hair products, deodorant, personal items) Shower flip flops (also for the dorm) Fans for your dorm room – extension cords? Flashlight or nightlight MEDS: Aspirin, inhaler, contacts, eye drops and any other items you may need Cell phone and CHARGER! Rain gear - jacket/ umbrella (for on campus) Things to do during free time (cards, books, iPods, snacks & games) Snacks Alarm clock *You will arrive to an empty dorm room. No rugs, no bedding, no curtains. Bring what you need for the week. (possibly an extra sheet or something to cover the windows) We walk on campus to get to rehearsals and the cafe' ... bring raingear.</p>
