<p> Long Wave Inc. Job Posting</p><p>Date: May 19, 2017 Position Title: Electrical Engineer Department: Programs / Oklahoma City, OK Salary: D.O.E. Work Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Position Closes: Until position is filled Positions Primary Function: This position is responsible for the design and development of hardware and system components and associated documentation. </p><p>Essential Responsibilities: 1. Designing facility and box level wiring and cabling. 2. Preparing trade studies on COTS hardware. 3. Code, test, debug, and document DSP programs. 4. Understanding of the hardware to software interface. 5. Knowledgeable of the RF spectrum, including experience in RF spectrum analysis and signal identification preferred. 6. Designing printed circuit boards. 7. Integration and testing of hardware/software systems. 8. Preparing drawings and other hardware design documentation. 9. Understanding and familiarity with the National Electric Code. 10. Ability to interact with customers and clients on a daily basis and troubleshoot potential problems as necessary. 11. Work as a member of a team to ensure work is complete on time and accurate. 12. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language. 13. Perform other duties as assigned. </p><p>Work Conditions: Employee will be working mostly within an office environment. Employee may travel to work site locations where employee will be expected to dress in appropriate manner to deal with clients and customers. Some travel will be necessary to meet the requirements for the position. </p><p>Job Requirements: Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field from an accredited university.  5 or more years’ experience working as an electrical or systems engineer.  Basic working knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.  Ability to shift priorities and demands and timelines while still meeting all expectations and deadlines.  Experience working with government contracts.  US Citizen.  Current/Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance.</p><p>Please apply using ADP portal at: EOE AA M/F/Vet/Disability</p>
