Lewis also has extensive experience in real estate transactions and development matters.</p><p>Kristine O'Connell was recognized in the areas of collaborative law (family law), family law and health care law. She has been with the firm since 1993, focusing on litigation defense, health law, and family law. O’Connell also has extensive experience in state regulatory law. </p><p>O’Connell is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of South Dakota, South Dakota Trial Lawyers Association, South Dakota Defense Lawyers Association and Defense Research Institute. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Dakota, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.</p><p>Heather Springer was recognized for her work in health care law. Her practice focuses on both health care and employment matters, representing hospitals, physicians, physician groups, and ambulatory surgery centers in South Dakota, Minnesota and throughout the country. She also guides employers, from publicly traded companies to small employers, in all areas of employment law.</p><p>Springer is frequently asked to speak to employment and health care groups, and to be an expert witness on matters of health care law.
