EMAIL ACCOUNT AUTO-RESPONDER SETUP SOP

Here are instructions on how to setup your auto-responder in your email account so that it could automatically reply to all messages sent to your account while you are in a vacation or ill for some days:

1. Enter the following link: http://intellitemps.net:2095

2. Type your email username and password in login screen such as: Username: [email protected] Password: mypassword

3. Enter the section: [Autoresponder Options]

4. In From field type your original email address such as: From: [email protected]

5. In the Subject field provide the following: Subject: Autoresponder: Out of office - Re: %subject%

6. In Body section, add something like this:

Hello, this is an autoresponder and this is to inform you that I am (on vacation, having rest days, ill, etc.) and will start attending the office not before (some date). Thank you.

7. Now click on 'Setup Autoresponder'

Note: After the autoresponder is enabled in your email account, all incoming messages will be replied automatically, so this should be done just before you go for vacation.

P.S.: To disable the autoresponder (when you come back to office) repeat the steps 1 through 3 and then click on 'Delete Autoresponder' button. The status of your Autoreponder is indicated in bold before the provided fields such as:

"An autoresponder is not currently setup for your account."

Compiled by: ERAJ BAIZOEV © Silkroad Science & Engineering – October 2006
