Helen Galloway was born in Cline, South Carolina to the late Earl Vestel Jester and Helen Virginia Hatch Jester. Before retirement she was a Pre-K teacher for the CDC Norman Drive Baptist Church. Her husband, Walter Thomas Galloway, preceded her in death. She is survived by her children and spouses, Lee and Kim Galloway of Corpus Christi, Texas, Theresa Fuqua of Peachtree City, Nancy Galloway of Greenville, South Carolina; and Tom and Susan Galloway of Chesapeake, Virginia; five grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Sunday, October 14, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. at Hebron Cemetery. Dr. David Chancey will officiate. The family suggests donations in lieu of flowers to any children's organization. Jordan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. </p>
