<p>Book Report Outline</p><p>Directions: All of the information in the following outline must be included in your book report. Your report must be typed in paragraph form. While you may not omit anything from this outline, you may include any additional information you believe is relevant or important. All Sentence Starters must be used in your Book Report.</p><p>I. Basic Information (paragraph 1)</p><p>A. Title of book and author of book B. Setting of book 1. Place of story 2. Time of story</p><p>II. Characters </p><p>A. List all Major Characters with a description about each (paragraph 2) 1. Description a. Age b. Personality c. Appearance</p><p>2. Other important “stuff” a. Relationship to other characters b. Role in the story</p><p>B. List at some of the Minor Characters (paragraph 3) 1. Brief Descriptions 2. Relationship to other characters</p><p>III. Plot </p><p>A. Get the story started (paragraph 4) 1. How does the story begin? 2. What interesting things happen?</p><p>B. Problem/ Conflict (paragraph 5)</p><p>● Explain in detail the major problem or conflict presented for the main character.</p><p>Sentence Starters: a. Complications (paragraph 6)</p><p>● Explain in detail additional complications that add to the major conflict.</p><p>Sentence Starters:</p><p> a.
