They are the world's leader in certification, education, research, and technological guidance for the profession. The Institute serves as the profession's watchdog and resource on significant auditing issues around the globe. The IIA also provides standards, guidance, and best practices to internal auditing practitioners, executive management, boards of directors, and audit committees. The IIA serves internal auditors through its extensive network of regional and local chapters.</p><p>The Lansing Chapter of the Institute of Internal Auditors was established in 1979 and currently has 119 members. We host monthly breakfast meetings where speakers discuss relevant business topics. The meetings also provide great networking opportunities for students.
