Dear Parent/Carer s4

10 July 2015

Dear Parent/Carer

Thank you for working with us during the last couple of weeks when the weather has been much warmer. Next week the forecast is slightly cooler but given that it is the last week of term we will maintain the current status-quo and the students can either:

 wear full uniform OR

 no tie and no blazer

 a combination of both is not permitted

On Thursday we have Sports Day (weather permitting) and an appropriate house coloured tee-shirt is allowed (no strappy or strapless tops). Please ensure your child has a hat, water and sun-cream.

I also want to take this opportunity to refer you to the letter Mrs Raybould has issued about uniform for the new term starting in September. She has also delivered assemblies to all of the students related to the standards we expect: pleated knee length skirts, no skinny trousers, no denim trousers, polish-able black shoes, no facial jewellery, no bracelets, one ring is allowed, one earring in each ear, no unnaturally dyed hair, no painted nails, and the correct house tie. Almars are ready for any uniform adjustments that you need to make over the summer break.

Once again, thank you to the vast majority of families that consistently send their child to school dressed correctly.

Yours faithfully

Sue Collings Headteacher

Registered in England & Wales – Company Number 8056991
