The heartbeat of the fetus may be heard with a stethoscope. 8 Mont Fine hair, called lanugo, covers the fetus. Fingernails h 5 and fingerprints form. The fetus sucks its thumb and is more active. 9 Mont The skeleton is forming rapidly. The fetus moves often. h 6 The body of the fetus begins to fill out 10 Mont The fetus grows rapidly. It is very active by moving and h 7 kicking often. 11 Mont The fetus continues to grow rapidly in length and weight. h 8-9 Hair grows on the head. Fat is added to the body. 12 Birth Baby takes their first breath and is welcomed into the world </p>
