Paul Revere and other patriots worked hard for liberty from British rule through planned protests, boycott of British goods, and spreading patriot ideas to the other colonists in magazines, newspapers, political posters and cartoons. 2. How did Paul Revere exhibit diligence? Paul Revere exhibited or showed diligence by working many types of jobs to take care of his family. He also worked hard to help gain independence from King George III. 3. The American Revolution was the war between the colonists and the British for independence. 4. The planned protest against unfair taxes on tea and other goods from England by the colonists became known as the Boston Tea Party. 5. Paul Revere had many different jobs, but his main occupation was as a silversmith like his father. 6. People who did NOT want to be free of British rule were known as loyalist. 7. Colonists who wanted to be free of British rule were known as patriots. 8. The Sons of Liberty were a group of colonists who worked for independence from Britain. 9. Paul Revere’s job as a mail carrier best prepared him for his famous Midnight Ride. 10.
