<p> PREPROFESSIONAL ADVISEMENT PREDENTAL SCHOLARSHIPS 2015-2016</p><p>Thanks to the significant generosity of BYU alumni, and their families, there is a new scholarship opportunity available to BYU predental students. The scholarship is for approximately half tuition for two semesters. The number awarded will depend upon available funds and applicant’s qualifications. Merit, as well as financial need, will be used to consideration. Applications will be reviewed by a predental scholarship committee to determine the recipients. Scholarship recipients will be notified by the BYU Preprofessional Office. Scholarships are available for BYU students who will be sophomores, juniors, or seniors for the 2015-2016 academic year.</p><p>APPLICATION PROCEDURE: 1. Fill out this application form. 2. Include any or all of the following: extracurricular activities, community service, research, leadership experiences, work experience, and other pertinent information. Be sure to address what you did, but with an emphasis on how the experience has affected you. Include copies of your transcripts from every university attended. 3. Include a one page essay describing your motivation to attend dental school and why you should be considered for a predental scholarship. You may also include any extenuating circumstances you think the committee should consider for the scholarship awards. 4. Request one letter of recommendation to be sent to 3328 WSC. (If you are using us to hold any of your letters of recommendation, a copy of a letter from your packet will be included.
