<p> Teens Go Teal! w/ Lydia’s Legacy</p><p>*Please join us on Saturday, January 14th , 2017, from 9:00-11:30am in the Marvin Ridge Middle School Media Center for an awareness event focusing on Ovarian and other Gynecological Cancers.</p><p>*Volunteers from Lydia’s Legacy will be on hand as well as some SURVIVORS.</p><p>*You can visit different stations to: **learn from physicians about these cancers through interactive games **write an encouraging note to a patient going through this trying time **make a butterfly magnet to take home **get a your nails painted teal **RAISE AWARENESS</p><p>Please RSVP by January 7th , 2017 [email protected]</p><p>***This event is open to 6th graders and up (Moms and Dads, too!) ***Free of charge ***Refreshments ***If you’d like to bring a donation for “Teal Totes” (bags that are given to patients going through chemotherapy due to Ovarian and Gynecological cancers) we are in need of blank journals, colored pencils, individual tissue packets, fuzzy socks and plain lip balm (no flavor).
