Practice with the Irons 8 Student will demon- strate various shots with the irons, long fairway shots, chipping, pitching and bunker play.</p><p>Practice with the Woods 8 Student will demonstrate various shots with the wood, demonstrate skills in teeing of, and proper selection of various fairway woods.</p><p>Putting Techniques 5 Student will demon- strate ability to read the greens, putting lye, and proper putting fundamentals.</p><p>Practice Time Learning Various Golf Shots 4 Student will use the driving range, putting- chipping greens and practice sand trap play at the golf course.</p><p>Actual Golf Course Play 2 Student will be assigned course play to practice all golfing fundamentals. </p><p>Course Outcomes: At the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:</p><p> The students will demonstrate an improvement of skills listed in the outcomes for PED 116.  The students will demonstrate their golfing techniques and understand the rules of tournament play. </p>
