<p>Name/Period: Grammar Dialogue</p><p>Instructions: You are to write a dialogue with a partner. The material must be in ASL using each of the basic grammar rules listed below. Consult your notes for this information. Make sure you have a beginning, middle and end. Your conversation must make sense. It can be as long or as short as you need it to be as long as each grammar structure is used and it makes sense.</p><p>Grade:  60 points for signs, NMS, and fluency  40 points for grammar structures used and labeled correctly  25 points for quality of instruction to class (5 for reminding students to sign with you and 25 for detailed explanations of grammar structures.  -10 points if written format is incorrect  -5 points if it is not memorized</p><p>Remember to follow the heading sample and type and double-space using black ink, Times New Roman in 12 point font. All glossing marks should be typed, not hand written. </p><p>For your presentation you must: 1. Present the dialogue to the class in ASL—from memory 2. Put the glossed dialogue up on the screen using the book projector and a. Explain the grammar structures used in your part b. Teach the class your vocabulary by having the class sign your part with you</p><p>Use one each of the following grammar structures. Include all glossing marks. If a grammar structure does not have a glossing mark use the mark listed in ( ) to prove you know what it is.
