No amendments.</p><p>Definitions 1. In this Act, “Board” means The Board of Governors of The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education; (“conseil”) “University” means The Governing Council of the University of Toronto. (“Université”) 1996, c. 16, s. 1. Property vests in University 2. (1) All property, rights and powers of the Board, the OISE Educational Corporation, The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education Press and The OISE Foundation for Learning vest in the University. 1996, c. 16, s. 2 (1). Gifts (2) All gifts to the Board or The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education or The OISE Foundation for Learning are gifts to the University. 1996, c. 16, s. 2 (2). Trusts (3) Property held by the Board for a special purpose or for a trust on the day this Act comes into force is held by the University under and subject to the same powers and limitations as the Board had. 1996, c. 16, s. 2 (3). University responsible for obligations (4) The University is responsible for the obligations of the Board, the OISE Educational Corporation, The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education Press and The OISE Foundation for Learning and any claims against any of them arising before their dissolution. 1996, c. 16, s. 2 (4). Use of name 3. The University has the sole right to use the names “The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education” and “Institut d’études pédagogiques de l’Ontario” and the acronyms “OISE” and “IEPO”. 1996, c. 16, s. 3. College continued 4. (1) The college known as The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education in English and Institut d’études pédagogiques de l’Ontario in French is integrated with the Faculty of Education, University of Toronto, as an academic unit of the University under the control and management of the University. 1996, c. 16, s. 4 (1). Mandate (2) The mandate of the academic unit shall be determined by the University but shall include, (a) studying matters and problems relating to or affecting education; (b) disseminating the results of and assisting in the implementation of the findings of educational studies; and (c) establishing and conducting courses leading to certificates of standing and graduate degrees in education. 1996, c. 16, s. 4 (2). Name (3) The name of the academic unit is “The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto” in English and “Institut d’études pédagogiques de l’Ontario de l’Université de Toronto” in French until the name is changed by the University. 1996, c. 16, s. 4 (3). Same</p><p>1 (4) The University may change the name of the unit only after the expiration of 10 years after this Act comes into force. 1996, c. 16, s. 4 (4). Dissolution 5. The Board, the OISE Educational Corporation, The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education Press and The OISE Foundation for Learning are dissolved on the day this Act comes into force. 1996, c. 16, s. 5. 6.
