<p>BLL is a non-profit, self-governing, member supported organization. It was established in 1977 as the Institute for Retired Professionals and Executives (IRPE). We are staffed primarily by volunteers, which include our instructors, directors and committee members. We are always looking to enhance our offerings to members, so if you have a life experience or skill that you would like to share or teach, please contact Susan Tischler, Chairperson of the Program Committee. In addition to our lectures and classes we offer discounted tickets for theatre and other cultural events, museum outings, music programs as well as invitations to many of the Brooklyn College sponsored events.</p><p>Choose the membership level best for you:</p><p>Individual - $85 Entitles you to participate in all BLL classes, trips (additional fee), concerts and lectures, use the Brooklyn College library and computers and obtain discounts for museums, plays and more. Friend of BLL - $110 Entitles you to all the benefits of an Individual membership plus an invitation to a special event to thank you for joining at this level.
