S. 08 – 10 Dhekiajuli Management Schools, Members of January, 2009 NGOs</p><p>OBJECTIVES  To provide information about flood and earthquake risk of N-E India.  To give an overview on various structural and non-structural measures for preparedness and damage mitigation.  To provide knowledge on role of remote sensing and GIS in disaster management.  To develop administrative capabilities to plan and implement preparedness and mitigation strategies.  To discuss about instant rescue and relief operations, medical and paramedical attention etc. during flood and earthquake disasters.  Other issues pertaining to disaster management. </p><p>VENUE : LOKD College, Dhekiajuli, Sonitpur, Assam</p><p>NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS : 22 (twenty two) for each programme</p><p>CERTIFICATE : Certificates will be awarded by the Tezpur University to participants on completion of the training course.</p><p>NO.
