<p> Position Announcement</p><p>POSITION: Computer Information Systems (Structured Query Language (SQL) CIST 1220) Adjunct Instructor</p><p>POSITION DESCRIPTION: Adjunct position is for Fall Semester which begins August 20, 2012. Adjunct faculty responsibilities are centered on preparing and teaching classes as assigned. Duties include: lecture, lab instruction activities, student advisement, registration, and other duties as defined by the Technical College System of Georgia. Class will be offered during the day on Monday and Wednesday and online. </p><p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Bachelor’s Degree in CIS, IT or a computer related field.  Broad understanding of database retrieval problems through the use of SQL Language.  Knowledge of SQL/Server, ORACLE, DB2, ACCESS and other database systems. </p><p>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  Master’s Degree in CIS, IT or a computer related field or Master’s degree in a computer related field with 18 graduate semester hours.  Teaching experience at the post-secondary level.  At least three years of in-field work or computer related instructional experience within the past seven years.</p><p>SALARY/BENEFITS: Salary varies depending on course.
