<p>INDUSTRIOUSNESS Part 4: Being industrious</p><p></p><p>1. GOAL</p><p>So that the members will see a good example of an industrious person in the Bible and then use these thoughts and implement them in their own lives.</p><p>2. CONTENT</p><p>2.1 Introduction</p><p>As we look at others and see their example it often influences our lives and inspires us so that we wish to work as they do. The Bible tells us about many people who have accomplished much because of industriousness and from them we can also learn how to be an industrious person.</p><p>2.2 Question</p><p>As we spoke of industriousness who do you think of , or what is an example of industriousness to you?</p><p>A) ______B) ______C) ______</p><p>2.3 Bible Verses</p><p>The Bible gives us an example of a very industrious being:-</p><p>A. Proverbs 6:6 "Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!"</p><p>Ants are very industrious creatures, full of drive and energy. They can drag animals much larger than themselves. Let us follow the good example of ants.</p><p>B. Proverbs 6:7 "It has no commander, no overseer or ruler."</p><p>Ants work hard even though there is no commander, overseer or superviser to watch them. C. Proverbs 6:8 "Yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest."</p><p>Copyright © 2005 by New Hope International Church, Seattle Ants make plans for the future. An industrious person always has foresight and vision and he will make plans in order to accomplish his vision. He does not work hard only before others, but he is also diligent when by himself. He fears God more than man, and realizes that only what is accomplished for the sake of the Lord will be everlasting.</p><p>2.4 Discussion questions</p><p>A. If someone works only under supervision what do you think are the bad results that will be affecting his life?</p><p>B. Give an example of an industrious person and if you are to be just like him, what is your task?</p><p>3.
