YOKOHAMA Switzerland Karting Attracts Crowds

<p>6th February 2014</p><p>YOKOHAMA Switzerland Karting attracts crowds</p><p>YOKOHAMA recently held its traditional Kart racing event in Vaud Payerne’s , one of the most impressive Kart tracks in Switzerland. After intense competition between 25 competing teams, and 150 drivers, Team Mazda managed to fend off all opposition to come out as outright winners.</p><p>On its 9th edition the very well established Yokohama Switzerland event invites members of the automotive industry to take part in and on this occasion other manufacturers such as CHEVROLET, CITROËN, FORD, HONDA, HYUNDAI, KIA, LEXUS, MINI, MITSUBISHI, PEUGEOT, PORSCHE and YOKOHAMA Switzerland, took the challenge.</p><p>The automotive press of Switzerland was also represented at the event to ensure tough competition throughout and the quest to find the best balanced team.</p><p>WTCC Driver Fredy Barth was also among the list of international greats who joined the 9th Edition of the Yokohama Kart race and which included also Andrina Gugger, Nico Müller and Marcel Steiner. In the past other Champions such as Yvan Muller have also participated at the Swiss Kart event.</p><p>Almost unstoppable this year, were Andrina Gugger and Nico Müller was. With the fastest lap of the race, they secured the win in the “Trophy" category. In the "Official" category, which involves only employees of the respective companies and a guest could take the start with MAZDA taking the win in front of AUTOSCOUT24 and SUBARU.</p>
