<p> BYRON FOREST PRESERVE DISTRICT MINUTES OF MEETING FEBRUARY 22, 2016</p><p>Commissioners present: Auker, Brooks, Hogan, and Ludwig.</p><p>Commissioners absent: Conry.</p><p>Staff present: Brunner, Gerke, Herman, McCammond, and Welker.</p><p>Guests present: None.</p><p>The meeting was called to order at 7 pm.</p><p>President Hogan deleted the Executive Session from the agenda. </p><p>LUDWIG MOVED AND AUKER SECONDED A MOTION TO APPROVE </p><p>THE AGENDA AS AMENDED. BROOKS – YES, CONRY – ABSENT, LUDWIG – </p><p>YES, AUKER – YES, AND HOGAN – YES.</p><p>LUDWIG MOVED AND AUKER SECONDED A MOTION TO APPROVE </p><p>THE REGULAR MEETING MINUTES AND EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES OF </p><p>JANUARY 18, 2016. CONRY – ABSENT, LUDWIG – YES, AUKER – YES, </p><p>BROOKS – YES, AND HOGAN – YES.</p><p>The correspondence was noted.</p><p>BROOKS MOVED AND AUKER SECONDED A MOTION TO APPROVE </p><p>THE FINANCIAL REPORT FOR JANUARY 2016. LUDWIG – YES, AUKER – YES,</p><p>BROOKS – YES, CONRY – ABSENT, AND HOGAN – YES.</p><p>President Hogan reported that the State Conference was very productive. Prairie burning was discussed. The District is the only one in the state who met the goal of the recommended amount of acres to be burned. Michelle Gerke (for Todd Tucker), Administrative Services Department-</p><p>7:07-7:08 pm; Mark Herman, Education Department-7:08-7:13 pm-He reported that he had 93 people at the Winter Lecture on Large Predators in Illinois plus two television stations covered the event as well. Russell Brunner, Restoration/Maintenance </p><p>Department-7:13-7:16 pm; Greg Welker (for Matt Henkel), Golf Maintenance </p><p>Department-7:16-7:26 pm-He noted that the photos of the completed restrooms at the golf pavilion are in the Dropbox. He reported that the Winter Junior Golf Day was a success with about 80-100 people in attendance and there were some new faces.</p><p>BROOKS MOVED AND LUDWIG SECONDED A MOTION AT 7:30 PM TO </p><p>ADJOURN THE MEETING.
