Outside guests are welcome only by permission. Attendance at a dance is a privilege and not a right. Accordingly, the school reserves the right to approve the appropriateness of any guests at one of its dances or to deny admittance as a guest. 1. Any person who has been administratively transferred from Chico High School or another school district for disciplinary reasons. 2. Any person who has been expelled from this district or, if it can be determined, from another school district. 3. Any person who has been disciplined for disruption or safety reasons at Chico High School activities while they were a student at Chico High School. 4. Any person identified as an associate or member of a gang as defined by police agencies and CUSD district policy. 5. Any person cited by the police for the following offenses: trespassing on school property, unlawful fighting, assault, battery, carrying weapons or displaying weapons, disturbing the peace, etc. 6. Any person over the age of 20; OR anyone in 8th grade or younger. 7. Any person whose character cannot be vouched by a school, police officials, or referral. All guests of CHS students must abide by all school rules while at a school activity.
