<p> PRODUCTION MEETING REPORT The Wizard of Oz and The Honky Tonk Angels</p><p>General Information: Those is Attendance: Production Meeting Number: 1 Duper Berry, Dana Maddox, Ron Temple, Cindy Wheat, Lindsy Brockman, Kate Wackerle, Corey Martin, Joe Gourley, Robert Date: June 6th, 2008 Daniels, Jen Porto, Adam Smith, David Gardner Location: Costume Shop (Women’s Side)</p><p>Start: 6:28pm Next Production Meeting: (for The Wizard of Oz) Stop: 7:45pm Monday, June 16th - 7:30am, Costume Shop (Women’s Side)</p><p>SCENIC: -drop brakes on everything except for the filing cabinet (lift brakes) – sounds great, thank you (1/2” drop into the deck). Brake on bar table? Yes, two brakes on it just in case as Sue Ellen does sit on it. -bar table will have a cloth over it, thank you. And thank you for the table. -spacing on Wednesday: can place things and drill holes that day. NOW TUESDAY -will put a specific time in just for scene changes. -bare foot backstage – just the one time with Darlene, going off stage R. Little rug spot for her just in case – 2’ X 3’ block of space. -check on exactly what would work with guitar – talk to Seth about price of guitar. -all heels are pretty chunky, we are good with the holes in the stage. -dressing station? R would be nice. Check it out, then Duper will help. -the couch issue: Will be a chair. It will be here on Tuesday. Check and see how weight bearing and all that jazz. Maybe needs a slip cover. The chair will need to have casters so it can be part of the scene shift. It can be on a wagon with brakes. Yes, wagon – low profile casters and two brakes. Maybe just call casters – super easy. -the stump is just sat upon – yes to getting casters and a wagon on that. -microphones are just props that you saw today – they are good – but might need to have a change of color (match the opening outfits). -signs: country music heaven – there the whole time. The drop is a one person deal – Lindsy can do it on her own.</p><p>PROPERTIES: -the iron in the beginning – anyway to gut it? That would be wonderful. Thank you. -same with the phone – see if there is anyway to gut it. -Sue Ellen – it’s her jacket she’s using as her pillow. -Angela’s purse – the gum, some sort of mints she can pop (tic-tacs or something) instead. -2 fake sandwich bags and 2 individually wrapped real sandwich halves, 2 fake pork rind bags. -tissues was great – will just buy a lot of them, maybe try and re-use – buy the cheapest. -Darlene’s outfit at the end – guitar strap, it’s a turquoise beaded gown – gold and silver accents. -3 skinny mics – silver? With black top. -in and out boxes do exist, and they will be permanently attached. -purse should be fine – and her luggage can open for extra storage. -hat box can open so the tambourine can go in there. Page 1 of 3 -pink accent on hat box – there could be more. -pictures for the backwall of the set – for the bar: the backwall is just covered in pictures. Again, will talk about it. -pendants: will talk about it. Can match color scheme in sign. A picture of seabiscuit. Monochromatic would be fine. -blinds for the LA office will be coming in tomorrow. -the fans are getting more love, yes.</p><p>SOUND: -talk to anna about when the band can come in and all that jazz. -new fiddle player will be in rehearsal with us on Tuesday. -robert would like to come to the sitzprobe -6:00pm GO band, 6:45 girls in mics, 7:00 go with both. House at 7:30pm. -Fiddler still able to move downstage on the solo? Not so much – 17” step. -Tuesday – 9:30am to do the voiceover recordings. Methodist Church. Greyhound announcement and children screaming need to be recorded. -the bus jerk – the purse dropping at the top of the scene. -guitar played in the band also (along with Darlene). -washboard: will be played with some sort of quieter item – pink eraser? They are working on it right now to see what works. Guitar pic wrapped in tape? Yes. Adam is the washboard technician. -the guitar that Darlene plays on stage can be quiet. Don’t concern yourselves with the pick up. -yes, wigs the whole show. -with the hats: smaller brim, try to push it back… reba hair, this could be interesting. -3/4” ply with masonite – it should click well. -the wind chime – outdoor windchime -front porch is in D the whole time – d pitched windchime. -headsets information was sent on Friday, check the report. -offstage mic for back-up singers: R, near the changing station. -seth’s own mic, yes. -meet in the office for sound paper tech on Wednesday at 5pm. -the phone rings – different people’s phones sound different. -the bar band has hats on… it’s very different. -seth is behind the piano, won’t be scene very well.</p><p>COSTUMES: -Act I: Darlene is in a dress during that act, just a reminder. -Fancy dress does have a train – no walking backwards (easily). -Rocky Top: shoes – ked or something not so heel-like. -18 wigs between the 3 of them. -fittings tomorrow at 7pm. -photoshoot: opening of Act II would be fine. Wednesday maybe? Will look it over. -Duper and Corey will look at the convention center together. -with the band – got all the shirt sizes, they just need to blend in – the set is a lot of browns and woods, little bit of green. -the 3 girls and lindsy need to be in costume for the scene shifts – country clothing. -angela is in flats for the first act. -only heels in the first act are Sue Ellen (rubber heel). -will do costume fun on Wednesday. -costume change plot will be given to kate as soon as possible ( to post for the girls.) Page 2 of 3 -boa is back in. -dance briefs that go with many different things will be worn. -find someone who will do Sue Ellen’s nails for the summer -angela will have wedding ring. -the fancy dress is pretty slit-like. Work it out.</p><p>PAINT: -pipe for drop for pocket? Will given soon (to take care of the drop) – the bottom pipe (will look).</p><p>ELECTRICS: -mirror ball: put a wire that hangs down, will be placed at intermission – 1 person, hang the mirror ball (sort of stick hanging mechanisms). -the script changes are attached to the rehearsal report and located on the wiki. It has all major blocking and all lines changes written in. Thank you. -christmas tree lights are going to be done by Joe and Jen. -Monday night/Tuesday night/ Wednesday night to cue (9pm – 3am). Don’t see set being in their during the evenings. -Monday night/Wednesday night: events in the conference center – need to revise tech schedule if it overlaps. -Everything needs to be pushed behind that white curtain. -Can’t write cues with the curtain in the way – maybe tie it up? Would like to start writing cues tomorrow night – crew will look at it tomorrow. -Christmas lights – get a crew hand to help out – maybe have to do a zig zag of Christmas lights. Can be hung there for rain shows, just not lit up. Ask Jill about the Christmas lights and rain show. -Christmas lights: tomorrow morning, 2 sets of hands from the crew to help out. -writing cues: will just be building cues for the next couple nights right now but will talk and give cues soon after. -the run lights – jen will do a count and get back to me. -the lights in the bus: turned on when the unit gets moved – under the luggage rack. -shouldn’t have any problems with the blocking, so no problem – no re-staging necessary.
