<p>Supplementary material</p><p>We have provided supplementary material containing plots and matrices that this work is based upon. First we have provided scatterplots of the data used in the correlation analysis. Since the number of species in the dataset is high, we have limited the number of dots in each 5C temperature interval in the plots in order to avoid too dense plots. The full datasets are used in the correlation analysis however. The scale in the plots are not the same, since the purpose of these plots is to show the relative changes due to differences in optimal growth temperature. The blue dots are bacterial species, while the red dots are archea.</p><p>In addition the matrices as described in the paper is present in the supplementary material, as well as the numbers the barplot is based upon.</p>
