One for $75 and one for $127.</p><p>Thank Stu for the shelf he made for the storage box.</p><p>Saturday, October 10th will be the Jimmy Clewes demo from 9-4 in Pembroke. Sunday and Monday are the hands on sessions and there is still one space open. Cost is $80.</p><p>Barb Berger updated us on the Barn Session Oct. 31st for the Boy Scouts. She has one mentor per student for the event. John checked with AAW and the age requirement for classes is 10 years old. There was a discussion on liability.</p><p>The club still has another $20 gift certificate for Packard Woodworking – it expires 5/16. Looking for suggestions – maybe auction prize or use instead of Rockler certificate at meeting.</p><p>AAW has a youth program – can be attained on line AAW has a youth membership.</p><p>NEW BUSINESS</p><p>John opened the floor for the nomination of officers. Barb nominated the slate of officers to continue for next year. It was seconded by Brian. We will vote next month. There will be an opportunity for more nominations next meeting.</p><p>Northwoods- John Lilley bought a box of wood( just the cost of shipping) Craig made a motion that we reimburse John for the shipping cost and that the wood be used for the fair. It was seconded by Rusty and approved.</p><p>The Keystone factory had burned down and people are looking for other options for the colored wood.</p><p>Grizzly in Muncy, PA is closing and currently has product at 90% off.</p><p>SHOW AND TELL</p><p>Craig Eckert – pizza cutter, maple platter, orange osage box with lid</p><p>Paul Boland –2 bowls</p><p>Paul Wojtanik- maple bowl, catalpa bowl</p><p>Brian DeFoe – Tooth pick holders, maple goblet</p><p>Gerry Rucker – ebony goblet</p><p>Jim Meier- English walnut natural edge bowl DRAWINGS</p><p>Show and Tell -Rockler Certificate – Craig Eckert</p><p>50/50 – Ron Hudson</p><p>DEMONSTRATION</p><p>Tonight’s demo was provided by Dean Cole.Dean explained how tools should fit your hand and the differences in tool rests and how to set them up properly. He then demonstrated inside out turning. It was amazing how different the finished product looked! He kept us guessing all night.
