<p>Mulberry’s Market Community Giving Program</p><p>Mulberry’s Market strives to be a good corporate citizen and welcomes requests for financial and in-kind contributions. Mulberry’s has pledged to give 10% of its after-tax profits to local schools and community groups. As one of the few visible businesses in Piedmont, we receive approximately 5-10 requests each week from Piedmont community groups, and we do our best to support as many as possible. We are best able to support those groups that give advance notice of their event or request. A donations committee consisting of the owners, managers and employees meets the last Monday of each month to consider all requests for the following month. Any requests submitted by the first Monday of that month will be considered at that meeting; for example, Mulberry’s will hold a meeting on the last Monday in February to consider March requests, which must be received by the first Monday in February in order to qualify for consideration.
