<p> Compass Components, Inc.</p><p>Production Support Technician</p><p>Reports to: Operations Manager Department: Engineering</p><p>Classification: Exempt</p><p>Job Summary The responsibility of this position is to support the production process with the required ERP and documentation required to meet customer orders. </p><p>Essential Functions This position may include but not be limited to the following duties;  Review and update production BOM’s for manufacturing  Create any required support paperwork like wire lists, method sheets, or operational steps  Work with Project Manager and Engineering for document problems  Identify special tooling requirements  Maintain parts on the system parts maintenance  Perform a drawing review for documentation errors  Note extreme tolerances affecting ability to manufacture.  Update and maintain part data per company requirements  Multi-tasking important issues to point of resolution  Be the liasion between engineering, assembly, customer service and possibly the client  Process and tooling improvements</p><p>Accountabilities  Consistent ongoing employee communication.  Demonstrated manufacturing knowledge of electro-mechanical and cable assembly</p><p>Minimum Requirements  Min. 2 years Vocational school or college.  Minimum 5 years experience in related position.  Excellent written and oral skills.  Basic knowledge of Microsoft office products  Experience in cable assembly production and electro-mechanical assembly  IPC 610 Certification</p><p>Desired Skills  Epicor software or any other manufacturing operations software  IPC 620 certification  Trainer experience  Strong customer service skills </p><p>Please send your resume to [email protected]</p>
