<p> TA 15-03: Cloud Statement of Work Template </p><p>ATTENTION:All Customers ACTION REQUESTED:None, Information Only DUE DATE:None</p><p>Background: The California Department of Technology released Technology Letter (TL) 14-04 in September 2014, announcing California’s Cloud Computing Policy. This policy will help CalTech customers harness the benefits of cloud computing while adequately addressing relevant statutory and security requirements, and suggests that State entities consider a “Cloud First” policy for all new reportable and non- reportable IT projects in accordance with SAM Section 4983. </p><p>Update: To assist customers in procuring Cloud Assessment and/or Migration services, CalTech has created a cloud-specific Statement of Work (SOW) template that supports CalTech’s “Cloud First” policy. Customers wishing to acquire Cloud Assessment and Migration Services are encouraged to tailor the SOW services and deliverables to their specific acquisition using this framework. The SOW will provide guidance for State entities that may not have experience in procuring cloud contracts, and will assist with organizing and scoping contract requirements.</p><p>Additionally, please see the MSA User Instructions to assist with your procurement of a Cloud Assessment and/or Migration services.
