<p> Caring Health Center, Inc.</p><p>Position Title: Human Resources Assistant General Description: Helps facilitates the day-to-day function of the department as it relates to Human Resources; including but not limited to recruitment efforts, benefits administration, employee policies and procedures and other assigned duties. Reports to: Human Resources Director Supervises: N/A Salary/Status: Non-Exempt Minimum Requirements: 1. Bachelors’ Degree in Human Resources or related field or two years related experience and an Associates Degree. 2. Strong knowledge of Human Resource laws and regulations. 3. Ability to interview and recruit prospective employees 4. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) 5. Consistency in meeting deadlines 6. Ability to work with a diverse group of people</p><p>SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Professional in Human Resource (PHR) certification preferred </p><p>Principle Responsibilities and Duties: 1. Maintain awareness/knowledge of new and revised legislation affecting HR. Interpret, communicate and provide support relating to Employee Relations, EEO/AA and Employment regulations. 2. Communicate with employees, supervisors, Occupational Health and Workers’ Comp Insurance regarding work related injuries. 3. Maintain at each CHC site appropriate bulletin boards, job postings, and regulatory notices. 4. Review and process paperwork related to position requisitions for new/replacement positions. 5. Conduct employment background checks (CORI), Sexual Offender Registry (SORI) on prospective employees. 6. Regularly report staffing patterns by position, department and site (fte to budget). 7. Assist with new hire orientation program, and process new hire paperwork. 8. Assist in developing a Human Resource Information System (HRIS). 9. Participate as directed in executing proposed initiatives for the Human Resource Department as developed by the CHC Management Team and Board of Directors. 10. Participate in special projects or other assigned duties as needed. 11. Regularly report terminated employee information to all current insurance carriers. 12. Complete Requests for Verification of Employment for different agencies. 13. Review employees Personal Files for updated License/Certification Information. 14. Manage processes of scheduling Interview for open positions. 15. Work closely with Supervisors to ensure each employee’s Performance Evaluation is completed on time. 16. Ensure that each Management Team member has current Conflict of Interest and declaration forms. 18. Process and keep track of employee FMLA requests. 19. Assist with payroll processing as needed.</p><p>.</p><p>From time to time, this position requires the ability to work long and arduous hours.
