Limelight’s mission is to securely manage and globally deliver digital content, building customer satisfaction through exceptional reliability and performance.</p><p>Job Purpose:</p><p>The Sales Intern is responsible for contributing to the success of our Global Sales Organization in creating new selling opportunities within prospective customers by positioning Limelight’s full suite of solutions. The Sales Intern is responsible for nurturing and qualifying leads, identifying key decision-makers, identifying business issues and work collaboratively with Limelight’s Sales teams on pipeline building activities.</p><p>This position is a great way to determine if Sales is for you! </p><p>Essential Functions:</p><p> Manage out-bound lead queues and rapidly respond with relevant information according to the lead response, drive incremental sales productivity and new business through effective and efficient prospecting and schedule appointments between prospects and Limelight sales associates on qualified opportunities. Utilize Limelight’s sales methodology to drive qualified pipeline activity via out-bound prospecting efforts. Deliver the Limelight value proposition and generate interest for qualified prospects to meet with Business Development Executives. Follow up on prospecting lists, meet assigned activity quotas, follow process and achieve performance goals. Maintain accurate and detailed lead, account, contract and sales activity metrics within Limelight’s sales force automation system. Collaborate with Limelight’s Business Development Executives and Sales Managers on identifying qualified opportunities. Communicate effectively to Sales teams the status of leads and findings from qualification.</p><p>Qualifications: </p><p>Experience and Education (minimums)</p><p> Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in related field.
