I’m the Commodity Manager at PFS in Grand Prairie. PFS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Pilgrim’s Pride. And Pilgrim’s has owned 61 percent or JBS has owned 61percent of the Pilgrim’s stock, so you hear all 3 of the names: JBS, Pilgrim’s, and PFS. We’re the largest protein producing company in the world. I’ve been doing this for 10 years. But PFS, at that location, has been doing it for 15 years. We warehouse - AMC Warehouse. There’s two hundred and fifty thousand square feet with 36 doors for trucks and 3 rail doors for deliveries. I have 6 dedicated drivers and 6 dedicated tractor-trailers. Our commercial side, which delivers “center of the plate” to supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, fast food. They have additional drivers and additional tractors and trailers, if needed. We have a goal of customer service. ‘The Top Notch’. My goal is to make sure my drivers are to you, on time, with a smile. It doesn’t always happen, but it is the goal that we try really hard for that. Our commodity orders need to be in 2 days before the due date. We fax you a reminder a week in advance. If you haven’t responded we will ship everything 2 days before your delivery date. We will try very hard to get a hold of you if we need to. But, our email address is [email protected]. We try to have trucks down major highways at least twice during the month. So hopefully, if you have an issue we can resolve it. Just give us a call and we look forward working with you.
