<p> HILLDALE PTC MINUTES January 18, 2016</p><p>Meeting called to order at 7:00 PM</p><p>Board Member in attendance: Kristen Piper, Amee Chatterjee, Susanna Agrusti, Jamie Kideckel, Melissa Kobilarcik </p><p>Board Members absent: Melissa Jones</p><p>Board of Ed Member: not present</p><p>Principal’s Comments (Mrs. Cisneros)  Thank You: o Holiday Boutique – went extremely well and kids loved it o Class Parties – Thank you to the volunteers for helping</p><p> Upcoming Information/Dates: o 2/10 - Fun Run – to raise money for Weather Bug – Date may fluctuate based on news coverage o Applied for a grant for 12 picnic tables from Lowes. If approved HS art department will decorate with games for kids to play at recess. We should hear in early March. o Request – when calling out students, please be specific on voicemail with what the child is sick from. There are certain protocols that need to be taken in case of certain illnesses so please be specific. o Building Usage Form – needs to be filled out for absolutely anything that will take place in the building. If no form is filled out, the facility can not be used.</p><p>President’s Remarks (Kristen Piper):  Bylaws adopted and approved.  PTC Accomplishments to date: o Kids Tricky Tray – raised nearly $4k to be used to purchase new gym mats o Holiday Boutique – raised nearly $2k o 5th Grade Bake Sale – raised nearly $600 o Class parties and Science Dad were both extremely successful and used PTC funds  Important Upcoming Dates: o 1/27 – Chinese New Year Celebration – Parents are all welcome to attend from 9:00- 11:00am o 2/8 – Rescheduled paint night; open to all grades – proceeds to benefit 5th Grade o 2/10 (tentative) – Fun Run to raise money for Weather Bug o 2/13 – 5th Grade Bake Sale o 2/17 – Teacher Valentine gifts/luncheon o 2/24 – Glow in the Dark Dance o 3/3 – Spring Photos o 4/28 – TREP$ Marketplace o 5/26 – Field Day – parents need to volunteer in order to come – no general spectators o K Graduation – 6/16 @ 8:45am o 5th Grade Graduation – 6/19 @ 9:00am</p><p>Treasurer Report (Amee Chatterjee)  Hot Lunch remains largest fundraiser  Distributed copy of the budget for all to review Board of Education Update (provided by Mrs. Cisneros)  Decision has been made from work done on the demographic task force. Beginning for the 2017 school year, Rachel Gardens students will be split between Woodmont and Hilldale Schools. As Hilldale needs more space construction will begin over the summer to take a hardly used portion of the library and turn it into 2 BSI rooms, allowing for students not be in the hallway.</p><p>General Comments:  Mrs. Reinkardt – thanked PTC for all the work done. Teachers appreciate and feel the support and are grateful. Described work being done on the Peace Garden and what a popular place it is for the students. Asked that PTC continue to fund the work being done on it. All approved.</p><p>Meeting adjourned: 7:51 PM</p>
