<p> Statewide System for Vision Services / Iowa Braille School Summer Institute 2011 August 9, 10 & 11, 2011 Scheman Building, Iowa State University Ames, Iowa Agenda:</p><p>7:30 – 9:00 am Registration and Continental Breakfast 8:30 am Adapted PE Session Starts 9:00 - Noon Morning Sessions Noon - 1:00 pm Lunch (Adapted PE lunch 12-12:30) 1:00 - 4:00 pm Afternoon Sessions 4:30 pm Adapted PE Session Ends 4:15 -5:45 pm Evening Sessions</p><p>Important Notes:  We are working on approval for graduate credit, ACVREP, Paraprofessional Recertification and CEUs.  If you would like to receive graduate credit, ACVREP or Paraprofessional Recertification you must attend 15 contact hours. Each morning session is 3 contact hours, each afternoon session is 3 contact hours and each evening session is 1.5 contact hours.  If you are attending Summer Institute for graduate credit, you will also need to submit a 3-4 page paper by August 18. Please see attached for more information.  If you are attending the Adapted Physical Education session for graduate credit or ACVREP you must attend both days 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. to have 15 contact hours.  A $150 per day stipend will be available for professional who will not be reimbursed by another agency.
