<p>1st Ermington Venturers - Fundraising Protocol</p><p>Bunnings BBQ</p><p>1. Meet at the hall (refer to website - www.ermingtonscouts.asn.au/venturers.html for more information on times) to load cars with food etc for BBQ. Venturers are responsible for organising their own transport to and from the event.</p><p>2. Make sure you sign in and out in the fundraising book so that fundraising dollars from the event can be allocated to your personal fundraising account based on your hours worked.</p><p>3. Must wear clean clothes, and closed in shoes. Long hair needs to be tied back. Venturers should wear their uniform shirt - this must be buttoned up, and Group scarf.</p><p>4. As we are representing Scouting our dealings with the public should be courteous and friendly at all times. Swearing is not permitted.</p><p>5. One sausage sandwich and one drink is provided free of charge to workers for lunch. Any other food or drink consumed needs to be paid for.</p><p>6. No person under the age of 15 is to operate any equipment.</p><p>7. Cleanliness is of utmost importance - wash hands before handling food, after touching hair, coughing, sneezing, going to the toilet etc.</p><p>8. Anyone preparing food must wear food handling gloves.</p><p>9. Use different utensils for un-cooked and cooked foods.</p><p>10. The person handling the money should not touch any food.</p><p>11. BBQ operation hours are 9.00am - 4.00pm. This may be divided into shifts - contact the activity coordinator for more information on your shift. The activity coordinator will allocate roles as required and Venturers must carry out their allocated role to the best of their ability.</p><p>12. Gazebo must be erected.</p><p>13. Maximum charge for a sausage sandwich is $2.50, and $1.50 for a drink.</p><p>14. All rubbish must be taken away at the end of the last shift.</p><p>15. BBQ needs to be cleaned at the end of the last shift - including fat buckets.</p><p>16. At the end of the shift all the BBQ equipment needs to be cleaned, aprons and tablecloths washed, and all items returned back to the hall as soon as possible. Please advise if any stocks - e.g. serviettes, drinks, sauces are at low levels - so that they can be re-stocked ready for the next Group/Venturer BBQ.
