<p>Holloman Outdoor Recreation at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico</p><p>… is looking to hire qualified interns. The position would be from May till August, paid internship.</p><p>We are seeking applicants who are passionate about adventure based programming, leadership development, and willing to work hard and have a good time while doing it. Holloman Outdoor Recreation serves active duty airmen and their families, retired military personnel and civilians. As well as working in adventure programs. Interns will be helping with programs such as white water canoeing on the Rio Grande River, white water rafting in Colorado and the Grand Canyon, Surfing and snorkeling in California, SUP yoga, mountain biking, hiking, kayak classes and much, much more! Interns will be able to experience other areas of outdoor recreation such as our paintball fields, special community event coordination, skeet and trap, parks and pavilions and the base movie theater.</p><p>Interns will report directly to the Adventure Programs Coordinator and the Director of Outdoor Recreation. The ideal candidate has experience in outdoor adventure activities, is organized, able to prioritize tasks, and can work independently on projects. will have an understanding of rental shop operations, and proficiency with a variety of technical outdoor skills.
