<p> WALLINGFORD SWARTHMORE SCHOOL DISTRICT STRATH HAVEN MIDDLE SCHOOL 200 SOUTH PROVIDENCE ROAD, WALLINGFORD, PA 19086-6334 • (610) 892-3460</p><p>Waterworks/Art Museum Field Trip!</p><p>Dear Parent/Guardian:</p><p>The 6th grade Astros are going on a trip to the Fairmount Water Works and the Philadelphia Art Museum on Wednesday, October 17, 2012. We will board school buses and depart the middle school at 9:15 A.M. Our approximate time of return will be 1:45 P.M. The cost of the trip is $21.00 per student (the chaperone cost is free). Please make checks payable to Strath Haven Middle School.</p><p>We will be splitting the students into 2 groups. One group will go to the Water Works for about one hour and fifteen minutes and the other group will go to the Art Museum for one hour and fifteen minutes. At the end of the hour and fifteen minutes, the students will walk with their chaperones to the other destination.</p><p>The students will attend a program at the Water Works centered on water in our world. They will also have time to tour the Water Works museum. At the Art Museum, the students will take a tour called “Around the World” in which they will discover and compare many diverse cultures.</p><p>Students should bring a snack and a bag lunch. We will be eating the snack on the bus ride to the museums and eating lunch on the bus ride home (no glass bottles, please).</p><p>Students will be divided into small groups. We need many parent volunteers to help chaperone the trip. If you are interested in helping out, please indicate on the form on the reverse side.
