Ferguson, Sr. The organizational rules of Fairfield County Council prescribe that the members of County Council shall serve as ex-officio of all boards and commissions to which it makes appointments, and shall be kept informed of all board and commission activity. The County Council ex-officio member is thereby a full-fledged member of the board/commission to which he or she is appointed, having the right and privilege to be present at all board and commission meetings (including executive sessions), but shall not have voting privileges. </p>
