Hogan Memorial Health Occupations Student Scholarship </p><p>The Georgia Hospital Association is committed to the professional development of healthcare students through the Marjorie G. Hogan Memorial scholarship program. If your career path is to pursue a healthcare career, the Georgia Hospital Association may be able to assist you. The $1000 scholarship will be presented at the Spring HOSA Leadership Conference; however, the recipient does not have to attend the conference to receive the scholarship. The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the postsecondary school of attendance.</p><p>The Marjorie G. Hogan Memorial Health Occupations Student Scholarship Program</p><p>GHA’s goal is to provide assistance for your pathway of learning. If you are currently a graduating high school senior, or a post secondary student, a current Georgia HOSA member who will be attending a Georgia college to pursue a career in healthcare, the scholarship application process is simple. The following will be required at the designated deadline date set each year: </p><p> a completed application  a short essay discussing why you have chosen the healthcare career and what qualities you posses that would make you a contributing member of that healthcare profession and healthcare team of a hospital. 500 words or less, double spaced, 10 inch font.  a verified minimum 3.0 GPA (please include official school transcripts)  two letters of recommendation  current resume (including any volunteer experience)</p><p>A personal interview may be conducted in person or by phone through GHA.
