<p> UW-W PIE Student Checklist</p><p>1. Meet with your counselor to make sure you meet the requirements of your school to participate.</p><p>2. Read all the directions for registration and tuition payments VERY carefully!</p><p>3. When your school approves your participation in the course, please read thoroughly and complete both steps to ensure your enrollment in the PIE Program.</p><p>☐ Step One: Apply Online to UW- Whitewater 1) The online application process is free to PIE students at: https://apply.wisconsin.edu. By enrolling in a UW-Whitewater PIE course, you will be a UW-Whitewater student and eligible to receive college credit for your work. Your personal information will not be shared but is required to ensure a correct UW-Whitewater record when requesting your transcript.</p><p>2) For step-by-step instructions on how to apply to UW-Whitewater, please click here.</p><p>3) After submitting your online application to UW-Whitewater,</p><p> a) You will receive a letter of acceptance from the UW-Whitewater Admissions office mailed to your home address. </p><p> b) Be sure to keep this letter as it contains important login information for Step Two below.</p><p>☐ Step Two: Set Up Your Password and Email By setting up a personalized password, you will have access to the university registration system (WINS) and your university email account. Your Net-ID and password may also be used for the online course system, D2L. Let’s get started:</p><p>1. Obtain your student ID number and Net-ID from your UW-Whitewater admission letter.</p><p>2. Go to https://password.uww.edu</p><p>3. Click on “Login”; fill in your Net-ID and use your 7-digit ID number as the initial password, and then click the “Login” button.</p><p>4. On the “Change Password” page, enter your 7-digit ID number as the old password, then create a new personalized password.</p><p>5. You can then login to WINS from the UW-W home page. (www.uww.edu) in the upper right corner.</p><p>If you have problems setting up your password or logging into WINS, contact the Help Desk at [email protected] or 262.472.HELP. </p><p>6. For email access, go to http://www.uww.edu, click on E-Mail in the top right corner and login with your Net- ID and personalized password.
